Prepare to blast off with 2-D, Noodle, Russel and Murdoc as they set off on their mission to bring G-Shock creator Mr Ibe’s newest line of watches to the galaxy. Gorillaz have gone intergalactic in this partnership with watch brand G-Shock. A collaborative production between Feed Me Light and Blinkink, directors BRVTVS create a gritty, graphic world that imparts a funky new edge to creative director Jamie Hewlett’s beloved characters. With a unique approach to infusing 2D and 3D animation techniques with illustration and photography, BRVTVS lend their individual aesthetic to the most iconic virtual band in history.
AutoStore Router →
The film focuses on the human perspective and redefining the status quo of the consumer retail experience. The team was challenged with visualizing the unique benefits of the AutoStore Router-powerered system: highlighting the primary selling points of the system, re-familiarizing the audience with the main system modules and visualizing the processes through simple, abstract visual metaphors.
Using bright, engineered surfaces and consoles, we created an intimate and up-close perspective of the brand and user experience. Paired with natural, moving light we curated a tactile and touchable look and feel. Our goal is always to capture people’s hearts and minds, rather than overload them with technical information. This approach is another immediate differentiator for the AutoStore brand.

In collaboration with the team at Microsoft Design we created this celebratory film to thank all the people who collaborated on developing the new Microsoft icon system. The film honours the expertise and creative process that went into creating the beautiful, moving, coherent icon system.
Fluent Type by Sawdust →
Microsoft approached us to create an alternative typographic take on their Fluent UI logotype which uses their brand typeface Segoe. The idea was that our more expressive version would transform to become Segoe in its rested state. We built and modelled type that took the proportions of Segoe and elevated it, making it technical, physical and transformative. This served as the opener for an animated film introducing Fluent UI at the Microsoft Build 2020 conference.
Fluent UI is a collection of UX frameworks — a cross-platform, open-source approach that enables people to contribute and improve on the design-to-code system.

08303.studio is a new online music creation platform created by Yuri Suzuki, the Design Museum and Roland, which features Roland’s innovative Step Sequencer technique, as well as emulating the sound of the original TR-808 drum machine and TB-303 bass synthesiser. It is a professional sounding online musical interface, which records your masterpieces and allows you to share your creations through social media, messaging and also as a download.
