Racing driver Pedro Rodríguez was one of a kind, a legend in Latin America, and an idol to Porsche fans all over the world. And not only because he was a crazy skilled driver: he made history driving the iconic Porsche 917k, which we can only assume was based on a discarded Batmobile design deemed too unrealistic.
Fifty years after his tragic demise while racing in Germany, Club Camping teamed up with The Community and Porsche to honor some of his feats.

Austin based agency Asterisk and Brian Gossett illustrated a stylized rendering of the city of Austin in isometric perspective—a citywide map and a zoom in around the tech giant’s office. The maps were then printed on two cork boards for their employees to pin things to the map, a truly interactive experience. Each map stands at 4.5 feet by 5 feet. Like the Where’s Waldo books I enjoyed so much as a boy I wanted to incorporate fun Easter eggs into the map.
It all began in the Fall of 2020 during a hackathon project when we began to revisit our system with the very important goal of introducing skin tone choices to reactions and emoji. From there, it quickly grew to explore a new aesthetic as well.
It was then that our cross-company v-team began the journey of revisiting the Microsoft emoji system. A system that had been divided for some time, with different aesthetics in Windows, Microsoft Teams and Skype. While the system had plenty of personality, it hadn't yet caught up to the latest developments of Fluent Design.
As group of designers from various teams, we partnered with the creative agency Tendril to explore and define this new system. Below is a snapshot of the system’s smileys showing off this refreshed aesthetic, which we wanted to be exemplary of one Fluent Design principles: “Unmistakably Microsoft”.

Scholar partnered with Apple Music Japan, we set out to tell two very different but equally magical stories.
The first, “Summer,” showcases the summer festival season’s bright days and vibrant nights in Japan. We follow our lead character as he slides, dives, and crowd surfs his way across the festival scene, sprinkled with authentic details taken from the sites, snacks, and regalia of the season. Both pieces serve as dynamic journeys through life, backed by music and sounds that keep things fun and energizing.
The second, “New Life,” centers around our protagonist and her metamorphosis from student life into her young adulthood as a budding professional. Fueled by her soundtrack, our hero and her world spring to life with vivid colors and fluid cel animation, setting her well on her way into a new stage of life and style.

Pol Solà is a digital artist where his work materialized as harmonious and balanced compositions of minimalist and colorful aesthetics. In this body of work he explores the use of light, application of shadows, transparencies and reflections in a synthetic and contemporary way. His work drinks from nature, as organic and real, but at the same time he manages to detach himself from all these referents by creating strange but at the same time attractive dimensions that evoke order, silence and reflection.
